Water soluble polyester slurry is a new type of water-soluble polymer made of refined terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol as the main raw materials, with the introduction of hydrophilic base and modifier. It has excellent degradability.
Excellent adhesion; it has a molecular structure similar to that of polyester, and has excellent adhesion with polyester. The adhesion with polyester is much better than PVA, acrylate, modified starch and other slurries.
Good water solubility; it is easily soluble in hot water above 80℃, no precipitation, no skinning, good compatibility with starch, PVA, acrylic slurry, no precipitation, no stratification.
Low viscosity and stable; it adapts to (high consistency, high pressure, low viscosity) sizing process, strong penetration, easy to obtain good penetration, fiber cohesion, hairiness adhesion.
The size film is firm; it is firm, smooth and transparent, evenly broken when splitting, and the yarn is smooth. The opening of the loom is clear, which effectively reduces the rate of warp yarn breakage and improves the efficiency of the loom.

Formula: On the basis of the existing formula, the total solid volume remains unchanged, and 1kg water-soluble polyester slurry is used to replace 2kg PVA. The insufficient part is supplemented with starch or modified starch, and an appropriate amount of oil agent and antistatic agent is added to ensure the approximate sizing rate (the actual sizing rate will be slightly lower).
Sizing: put proper amount of water in the sizing bucket, turn on the mixing, first put in starch, then put in water-soluble polyester slurry, stir fully, then raise the temperature to above 95 ℃, then open the small air valve to boil for more than 30 minutes, then add oil, antistatic agent or liquid slurry, boil and mix well, and then use it after setting the volume and viscosity.

In the slurry formula, the auxiliary slurry containing bivalent metals or heavy metal salts should be avoided as far as possible, and the water with too high hardness should also be avoided as far as possible. The water with too high hardness needs to be softened before use. Do not use NaOH as the decomposing agent during slurry mixing. The PH value of the slurry should be between 6 and 7.
